Bill's Nightmare 05.01.11

Bill told me he had a dream in which I tried to "trick" him, last night.
We were at a Christian Revival; he said went with me because he knew it meant a lot to me.  Bill went to a concession stand (mmm, funny that I was working a concession stand at the BOK on Thursday!) to buy me a soda.  You could only buy one if you wrote down your name.  So he added his name to the "list" and purchased the soda.  A little later we attended a worship service.  In the service, Pastor Phil asked the congregation to separate into two groups.  He asked those who believed, and were baptised, to move to one side of the room.  Then he proceeded to read from a list of names he had obtained from the concession stands.  As he read out a name, the non-believer stood and Pastor Phil asked him if he believed.  The non-believer replied a resounding "Yes!".  This continued with positive answers and each new believer moved over to the other side of the auditorium.  Until Bill's name was read off the list.  Bill stood; and meekly replied, "maybe".  The silence in the auditorium echoed around the room... and Bill doesn't remember what happened next.
I love this story, because, to me, it is hope.  And I am anxious to see what does happen next, but I will be patient...
